Payment Options Available at Animal Emergency & Specialty

Animal Emergency & Specialty accepts cash and all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa). We also accept payment by Care Credit, a healthcare financing company. We are unable to accept personal checks.

Estimates, verbal or written, will be provided upon request. Please note that an estimate is only an approximation; actual fees may vary.

Generally, an invoice will be provided when your pet is discharged. Payment in full is due at the time of service. As is the case with human hospitals, payment becomes due regardless of treatment results.

For emergency and critical care patients who require hospitalization, a deposit of 50% of the high end of the estimate is required at the time of admission. The balance is due at discharge.

For surgical patients, a deposit of 50% of the high end of the estimate is collected when the procedure is scheduled. The balance is due at discharge.

Discounts are available for rehabilitation packages.

AES highly recommends pet insurance. For more information on insurance options, please see the FAQs page. We would be happy to assist in the submission of forms for insurance claims.
